Psalm 145:9 reminds us that “the Lord is good to all.” I am reminded regularly of God’s goodness to me, realizing there is so much in my life that I don’t deserve.
Today, I want to mention the many blessings that I have been allowed to experience that I don’t want to take for granted.
I was raised up poor but not compared to the majority of the world. I always had food to eat, clean water to drink, shelter over my head and clothes to wear. I was able to live in a place where I didn’t have to worry about bombs going off around me.
I was fortunate enough to have a loving family around me. I was blessed with good health, having no physical, mental, or emotional issues that prohibited me from having a normal life. I was able to hear about Jesus at a very young age because my parents took me to church and lived as good examples of what a Christian really looks like. The truth is that I could keep on writing because of God’s goodness.
Your life might be different in some respects, but I am sure that if you will look back over your past or even your present situations you can find reasons to acknowledge the goodness of God.
