On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to congratulate Reidsville attorney Glen A. Cheney on his recent appointment by Gov. Nathan Deal to serve as a superior-court judge for the Atlantic Judicial Circuit, which includes Bryan, Evans, Liberty, Long, McIntosh and Tattnall counties.
Judge Cheney will be well served in his new position by his 37 years of experience in the legal profession, including previous service as judge for the Municipal Court of Collins.
By accepting this post, Judge Cheney further demonstrates his commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well in this new capacity of judicial leadership.
