There are so many times that we think we have to go other places to see beauty. For instance, I love to go to the mountains and see the trees full of colorful leaves. The truth of the matter is that all around this area of coastal Georgia there is beautiful color as some leaves change around November/December.

I know this isn’t as much as what you would see on the Blue Ridge Parkway or in New England, but it is still beautiful if we take the time to look for it. Then, in not too much a drive, a person can go over on Highway 80 between Pooler and Statesboro and see the beautiful white cotton fields also in the month of November.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time”. There is so much beauty around us that goes beyond trees and cotton fields. We have to take the time to look for it and acknowledge it.

We can find beauty in the lives of others and, as believers in Jesus Christ, we can be examples of beauty as we allow our God to transform us.
