Representing Jesus
pastor corner

If you are a professing Christian, you are either representing Jesus or misrepresenting Him. You are either being a good example or a bad one. People who interact with us get an opinion of what a Christian is based on that interaction.

Let me give you some examples: If someone from another country is visiting the United States, then whoever they have interaction with helps mold their opinion of what an American is. If I go to visit another country, then the people from that country that I have interaction with helps mold my opinion of that particular country. I am a white male and there will be those who are not white males who form their opinion of white males based on their interaction with me.

We could go on and on with illustrations, but I think you get the point. 2 Corinthians 5:20 says that “we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us”, which tells us that God has entrusted us with an awesome responsibility, that of representing Him well.

So, let us each day, determine to represent Jesus well.

To make up for the misery of the heat, Kade showed up within just a few hours of labor and not much of hassle.
