As we look at life there are a lot of things that are not predictable. One that we all know about and have experienced in the weather. Weathermen or women only have certain tools to help them predict, even with our advanced technology, they can only come close.

Also, the winner or loser in sports contests are sometimes difficult to predict and because of the possibility of upsets there is not a sure thing outcome.

I have always heard that the only things that are for sure are paying taxes and death, but the scriptures teach us that we can be sure as it pertains to our relationship with God.

We can know that our sins are forgiven and where are destiny will be when the time comes for us to depart this world. In 1 John 5:13 the writer reminds us that the reason why he is writing to his readers is so that they “may know that they (you) have eternal life”.

The good news is that we get to choose whether or not we want to be in a relationship with God. Also, if you haven’t made this choice, you can today.
