Towards the end of his life the Apostle Paul testified about the spiritual journey he had traveled serving Jesus Christ. In 2 Timothy 4:7, he said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”.

In other words, he is saying that he had been faithful in what God had asked him to do and in those things that were pleasing to his heavenly Father.

For the vast majority of us, with 2025 coming to a close it doesn’t represent the end of our life, but it does represent the ending of another year. As you look back over this past year, could you say with all honesty and confidence that you have fought a good fight, and in finishing that part of your race you have kept the faith.

The bad news is that we don’t have the ability to go back and change the things we have said and the things we have done but the good news is that 2026 can be different. We can be in agreement with Paul where he said in 2 Corinthians 5:9, “Our only goal is to please God”.

May 2026 find you more committed, surrendered, and dedicated in serving God through the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
