Our "gentle giant" has crossed the Sweethill Creek one last time... on to a better place for such a beautiful soul. A man with a bountiful and kind heart, an always welcoming smile and such a positive attitude on life. We’ve known Janet and Owen Thayer going on 20 years ... never have I seen another couple that was such a compliment to one another.

With an abundance of grace and lack of excessive ego, Owen was the perfect gentleman. If you wanted an answer, Owen had it, and you knew it was true and factual, and non biased... a man of honesty... a man of real integrity.

He will be so sorely missed by all who had the blessing of knowing the gentle giant.
