Dear Editor:
In your paper dated Oct. 20, 2007, Betsy DeBry opined that the Nobel Peace Prize Committee's selection of Al Gore as a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize is inconceivable.
In my opinion, the selection was very conceivable. He has long labored to urge the nations of the world to come together and take necessary steps to prevent global warming that will, otherwise, result in making our planet virtually uninhabitable.
Had not the Supreme Court of the United States arbitrarily awarded George Bush with the presidency, this nation and the world would be in a much better and safer condition today.
