Dear Editor; In reference to the recent article in the “Reflections Magazine,” I would like to make the following correction. I was misquoted as saying that “When Mr. Ford got here everyone was living in shacks and shanties. But he made it his goal to build new and better housing for everyone.” The correct statement should have been that a small number of families were living in less than desirable dwellings and Mr. Ford replaced those with new homes. There were several prosperous families in this area at that time and if this misquote has offended anyone, I sincerely do apologize.
