Editor:

I would like to thank Richmond Hill Mayor Russ Carpenter, city council members Jan Bass, Tara Baraniak, John Fesperman and the late Johnny Murphy; Craig and Sharon Butts of Unity in the Community, Inc., and everyone who had anything to do with the first Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. parade and celebration in my hometown.

We’re already getting prepared for next year, and my hope is that everybody will join together now in preparation for 2020. .

Let’s make it even better than what it was this year.

I love Richmond Hill.

Donald Singleton, Richmond Hill
