Governor Kemp congratulated himself during the “state of the State” address for the new high tech jobs coming to Georgia. No mention was made of the main sources of our strong state of affairs: Democrats in Washington D.C.
Joe Biden and leaders in congress worked hard to get the Inflation Reduction Act passed, with no Republican votes. This legislation offered incentives to spur major solar, wind, and battery projects in the USA. Other related legislation promoted clean-energy, semiconductor, and infrastructure improvements, again with no Republican votes.
These programs have sparked an explosion of investments in all these fields. Georgia has gained as much or more as any state, but none was possible without the groundwork laid by Democrats. Remember who voted against all of these American job-creating programs.
