Editor: Roy Hubbard amazingly hits the nail on the head again with his letter "The next time you see the whale."

I had the same reaction to the picture of the whale and the subsequent news about Trump’s opening up the oceans for oil drilling that Mr. Hubbard had.

It spells disaster for the wildlife off of our coast, the fisheries industry, and the tourist industry in this area.

I am a longtime member of The Dolphin Project because I love to observe the beautiful creatures that live in our waterways. I would hope that everyone who lives in this area gets an opportunity to be out in the waterways on our marshes and observe the gorgeous but fragile environment where we live so they could appreciate the importance of it.

Big oil is not our friend.
