Your generosity toward the Richmond Hill YMCA annual campaign is empowering our financial aid recipients to improve their lives and well-being. It funds life-changing programs that help children, adults and families grow, thrive and improve their health.

Let me share two financial aid stories from a few of our recipients.

You have helped a single mom with two daughters with medical conditions find hope. The aid provided them with before- and after-school care and programs that allow them to excel.

When things turned upside down for a grandmother who recently became the guardian of her grandson, the Y was able to help and support her. She struggles to provide for them after having to cut back her hours to care for her grandson.

With your help, the Y was able to award her with an annual youth membership so her grandson can attend after-school care while she works.

With your donations, we are helping them improve their lives both physically and emotionally.

As you see, every dollar raised can help change the course of someone’s life right here in Richmond Hill. With your help, we can continue to provide hope, inspiration and acceptance to those who really need it. The YMCA is a place to feel safe and encouraged.
