There is an old Chinese proverb that says "When an old man dies, a library burns down." With no man was this truer than it was with Grant Tinker, my father-in-law, who died recently. Not only was he a history book, he was a history maker who had been a key player in many of television’s most iconic shows of the 1970s and 1980s.
