Every person on this earth wants to know that someone cares about them. Children need and desire to be cared for by parents. People want to know that they matter to somebody; that they have value.

We do know that there is a God who values people and has a desire to care for us. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all of our anxieties on God because He cares for us. He shows that He cares and wants a relationship with us, which is made possible through the sacrificial death of His Son Jesus. He cares for us by offering to us daily His love, mercy and grace.

We who are His children should follow His example by caring for others. How do we show we care for others? First, by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ who offers forgiveness, peace, and eternal life.

Also, by taking the time to listen and to be there for those in need. Then, we can be encouragers to those who need to find a reason to hope. We can pray for the needs of others, and we can truly make a difference in our world where God has placed us.
