Another example of the beauty of God’s creation
pastor corner

A couple of months ago I wrote about the beauty of God’s creation that I experienced in traveling. The truth of the matter is, God’s beauty is in our own community.

I don’t know who all have noticed, but in the last few days the brilliance of fall foliage has appeared. To me it was like going from a cloudy sky to a bright sunny day. I know that it can’t match the New England or mountain foliage, but it still exemplifies the beauty of God’s creation. I was reminded of what Ecclesiastes 3:11 states: “He (God) has made everything beautiful in its time”.

Every day I thank God for the many things that I take for granted, like food, water, clothing and shelter. There is one particular thing that I highly value which is my eyesight, and I daily give thanks for it. It is with these eyes that I am able to take in this beauty of color around me.

So, don’t get so busy and so wrapped up with the cares of this life that you miss out on the beauty of God’s creation around you.
