Kimberly Ann Bowers Collins

Kimberly Ann Bowers Collins, died Saturday, Nov. 17.

She was a native of Valdosta and lived in Richmond Hill the past seven years. She attended New Life Worship Center.

She is survived by her husband, Dewayne Collins; two children, Travis Lee Collins and Dillon Ray Collins; mother and father, Richard Lee and Linda Bowers; sister, Lisa Karen Bowers; niece, Mariah Nicole Bowers, all of Richmond Hill. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

The funeral service will be 2 p.m. today at the New Life Worship Center. Burial will follow in the Burnt Church Cemetery.

Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel is in charge.

Angela Cowart Hammerstein

Savannah

Angela Cowart Hammerstein age 42 passed away Sunday at Candler Hospital after an extended battle with cancer. Angie was the former director of Brewton Parker College, Savannah Campus, a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah, and a 1983 graduate of Bryan County High School where she was valedictorian of her graduating class, homecoming queen, member of the tennis team and editor of her high school paper. She was a 1988 graduate of the University of Georgia and received her masters in business from Brenau University in Atlanta. She enjoyed fishing and playing golf.

Survivors include her husband of 14 years, Gene T. Hammerstein of Savannah; parents, James, Sr. and Sandra Bazemore Cowart of Pembroke; one daughter, Taylor Denise Hammerstein of Savannah; grandmothers, Ollie Mae Cowart of Pembroke and Nathalee Bazemore of Pembroke; one brother, James "Jimmy" Cowart Jr. of Pembroke; two sisters, Cathy Cowart Burkhalter of Glennville and Janice Cowart Rossiter of Savannah;, father and mother -in-law, Gene T. and Lina Hammerstein Sr. of Sweeny, Texas; several aunts uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today, at the Pembroke First Baptist Church. Burial is in Northside Cemetery, Pembroke.

Memorial contributions can be made to Taylor's college fund, care of BB&T Bank, P.O. Box 878, Statesboro, GA, 30459.

Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
