Veterans Day honor
Pembroke Veterans Day

Lemore Strickland Jr., David Lane (holding a photo of his late wife Kathy), Wanda Bowers and Pembroke Fire Chief Peter Waters on Monday morning at Pembroke’s flag memorial downtown. 

Volunteers put up more than 200 flags and crosses in honor of local veterans, including World War II veteran Lemore Strickland Sr.
