Update on 204 wreck

According to a press release from Savannah Chatham Police, the female who died at the scene of Friday's Hwy. 204 wreck was Clyo, Georgia resident Nancy Hodges. The passenger in Hodges' Pontiac G6 was her 31-year-old daughter, who was taken to Memorial with life-threatening injuries.

The individuals in the Ford Explorer were all from Bloomingdale. The release says two women, ages 36 and 16, were taken to Memorial for serious injuries while the male driver was taken to St. Joseph's for "non-life-threatening injuries".

GeorgiaForward has announced that the 2025 Youth Placemaking Grant has been presented to the City of Pembroke Mayor’s Youth Council. The $500 grant, awarded to the city, will support a youth-led public placemaking project designed to foster creativity, community connection, and civic pride among young residents.
