There are  15 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bryan County, the Coastal Health District said Friday night.


There are 127 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in residents of the Coastal Health District and 4 deaths.


Cases by county:

  • Bryan: 15 cases, 1 death
  • Camden: 6 cases
  • Chatham: 65 cases, 3 deaths
  • Effingham: 6 cases
  • Glynn: 23 cases
  • Liberty: 9 cases
  • Long: 1 cases
  • McIntosh: 2 cases

Changes to US 280 and I-16 begin Friday

Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) contractors will be shifting traffic into a temporary configuration on US 280/State Route (SR) 30 at the I-16 westbound roundabout. This will occur Friday, June 20, through Saturday, June 21, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
