Trees and tacos on tap in Richmond Hill
Coastal Bryan Tree Foundation logo

Want to beautify your yard? Help clean the air? Hang a tire swing? Sit in the shade on a hot summer day? Here’s your chance.

And all for free. The Coastal Bryan Tree Foundation Tree Give Away returns from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, November 6 to J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill.

Jackie Montesino, president of the CBTF, invites the community. “These are beautiful 15 gallon trees in a number of varieties, including live oaks, willow oaks, Bracken’s Brown magnolias and others.”

“First come, first choice!,” added Montesino. “Our mission is to plant, preserve and protect the tree canopy of coastal Bryan County. We have planted over 2,000 trees in our community. This tree giveaway is our way of saying thank you to our neighbors and comes with an invitation to join us in this good work.”

For the hungry among us, Something to Taco Bout, the friendly taco truck, will be there for some wake-me-up breakfast or mid-morning pick-me- up.

What could be better than trees and tacos?
