According to authorities, 22-month-old Abigail Warner was playing with her three brothers at their home on Steeple Chase Road in Richmond Hill late Saturday afternoon when she wandered off and fell into the pond behind the family home.

Police say the Warner family nanny found the young girl, and the father administered CPR. CPR was again administered while she was taken via ambulance to St. Joseph's. The coroner declared the child deceased at 6:45 p.m. that evening.
