Dear Veterans,

What is it like to be in the Army? Is it fun? My school did a Veterans Day program, it was a lot of fun. A whole lot of people were there. We sang songs. I got to go home early. Is it scary to be in the Army?

From,

Dear Veterans,

If we did not have you, we would not be free. So thank you for all of your help. I love to be free. It means I can go to school, go to the church that I choose and play baseball on a sunny day. You make me proud to be an American living in the United States of America.

Sincerely,

Dear Veterans,

If we did not have you, we would have lost the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War I, World War II, and so many others. That’s a lot of people who would not have known freedom. We know how hard it must be for you to be away from your families. We appreciate what you have done for us. We pray for your safety as you do this dangerous work so that we can live in a free and safe country.

Sincerely,
