Richmond Hill City logo

The City of Richmond Hill is currently seeking up to four city residents to join the Sterling Creek Park Steering Committee, according to a press release from the city.

Selected residents will join members of City Council, city staff, and recreation advocates in actively creating a shared vision for Sterling Creek Park that will ultimately help influence future decision making in terms of park amenities and infrastructure.

Committee members will be appointed by City Council for the duration of the project, which is expected to take approximately 12 months to complete. The committee will meet on an as-needed basis but not more than once per month.

Membership selection will strive to reflect the diversity of the community with varying degrees of experience, knowledge, and expertise. At least one member of the steering committee shall be a resident of the Sterling Creek neighborhood.

City residents interested in serving on the Steering Committee are invited to submit their application to the City of Richmond Hill for consideration by Friday, December 2, 2022 at 5pm.  Applications can be found at https://bit.ly/SCPcommittee and submitted to Nathan Clark via email at nclark@richmondhill-ga.gov.
