The Knot, a marriage resource website and magazine, released its 2014 report on weddings and found that New York leads the way as the most expensive place to get hitched, according to a press release from PR Newswire.

Both Manhattan and Long Island led the list, with Westchester County and the Hudson Valley taking the fourth spot. The outer boroughs also made the list, the press release said.

States like New Jersey, California, Illinois, Texas and Pennsylvania also had multiple spots on the list, showing weddings can be quite costly in those states. Smaller states, like Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Hawaii, had only one entry on the list.
