The Georgia Environmental Protection Division will be have a public hearing regarding the proposed consent order for King America Finishing at 7 p.m. March 5 at Effingham County High School, 1589 Highway 119 S in Springfield.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments on the proposed KAF consent order to address alleged violations of the Georgia Water Quality Control Act.
The proposed consent order includes conditions requiring KAF to implement supplemental environmental projects.
