Dr. Terry Lee Stair of the New Life Foursquare Church in Milledgeville, Ga. received the first ever Pastor of the Year award for the Gulf-Atlantic District.

The award was given away as a part of the IN•NO•VATE Annual Leadership Conference held Sept. 5-7 in Stockbridge, Ga. Dr. Stair is the son of Ms. Geraldine Hilbert of Pembroke.

This award comes on the heels of a lifelong dedication to community relations and ministry.

Dr. Stair has pastored in South Carolina, Savannah, and since 1986 in Milledgeville, where he has been pastor of the New Life Foursquare Church.

He has worked with the Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Florida for 16 years where today he is the Alumni President and has worked in prison ministry for the last 12 years.

Dr. Stair has been involved in the Foursquare Chaplains program and was appointed divisional superintendent of the Gulf Atlantic District in January 2007. Dr. Stair has been married for 36 years to Debra Stair, they have five children.

The New Life Foursquare Church of Milledgeville is affiliated with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel.
