Spouses’ Club accepting community scholarships, grants applications
Marne Community and Spouses’ Club

The Marne Community and Spouses’ Club (MCSC) is accepting applications for its 2022 academic scholarships and welfare grants. Interested parties can fill out applications at www.marnecommunityandspousesclub.com/scholarships-and-grants. Scholarship applications must be time stamped by Feb. 15. Grant applications are due by March 1.

The Scholarship Fund is one of the many ways the club helps enrich the communities of Fort Stewart, Hunter Army Airfield, and the Low Country. Its goal is to provide merit-based scholarships for eligible military family members of the community. The MCSC will award scholarships based on the following criteria: academic achievement, community involvement, extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation.

MCSC also provides grants to local organizations that serve the Fort Stewart, Hunter Army Airfield, and surrounding areas. Organizations interested in applying for the MCSC Grant Fund must submit a Grant Request Application. The MCSC gave out $32,250 last year in scholarships and grants and we look forward to doing it again this year.

Spouses or children of service members stationed at Fort Stewart or Hunter Army Airfield may apply for the merit-based scholarships. Community organizations that serve the Fort Stewart, Hunter Army Airfield, and surrounding area may apply for grants.
