A sold-out black tie dinner Oct. 4 raised money to support the 2020 Richmond Hill Martin Luther King Jr. Parade.

The event, held at the Richmond Hill City Center, was sponsored by the Bryan County chapter of the NAACP and the MLK Parade Committee.

Donald Singleton was announced as grand marshal for this year's parade, to be held in January.

Check out some of the photos from the event, and a short video featuring several in attendance, including Mayor Russ Carpenter, taking part in a line dance.
