Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom, a nonprofit organization based in Richmond Hill devoted to providing transitional services to veterans and their families is hosting their inaugural Silent Auction on Friday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Richmond Hill City Center in J.F. Gregory Park.

The cost of admission is $10 and all proceeds will go toward helping support Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom's mission of supporting veterans and their families, as well as Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom “Kits 4 Kids Program,” which will allow military children the necessary items and support to express their feelings and foster communication with deployed parents, while maintaining a sense of routine.

The event will feature items donated from various businesses in the region, as well as items donated nationally to raise funds to support veterans and their families in the area. Some of the items that will be available are vacation and hunting packages to exotic locations, including Argentina, South Africa, Belize, and more. There will also be sports memorabilia, jewelry, and many other items.

There will be live music and food provided.
