CURE Childhood Cancer, an organization dedicated to conquering the disease through funding targeted research and supporting patients and their families, will host its annual Shell Out for a CURE on Friday, Feb. 6.
The signature oyster roast fundraiser will take place at Belhaven in Richmond Hill.
The evening features a classic Lowcountry oyster roast, heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music and a live auction. While the atmosphere is celebratory, the mission remains focused on funding research and providing tangible support for families during treatment and recovery.
This year’s program will spotlight the resilience of local families, including 5-year-old Harper, who is currently undergoing treatment for a Wilms tumor. The event will also honor Richmond Hill survivors Emily Kate and George, with their families in attendance to celebrate their journeys.
“Shell Out for a CURE is an impactful night where Richmond Hill really rallies,” said Mandy Garola, vice president of CURE. “Every ticket purchased and every bid made supports research for improved treatments and ensures that families in our area never have to face childhood cancer alone.”
Gateway Terminals returns as the presenting sponsor, continuing its long-standing commitment to CURE and the local community.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available online at www.curechildhoodcancer.org/shellout.
A limited number of tickets will be available at the door, subject to capacity.
