Sharing the power of flowers

The seniors at the North Bryan Senior Center recently received their annual visit from four ladies of the Pembroke Garden Club, where they potted around 30 colorful indoor plants for the seniors to take home and enjoy. Garden Club member and President Reta Willoughby said, "We enjoy being here with the seniors." Kathy Sauls, site manager at the center, said the garden club comes every spring and donates the flowers and supplies for the seniors to take home. "It really lifts them up," she said.
