A minor sewage spill occurred at 3:36 p.m. Jan. 1 on Golden Grove Lane in Richmond Hill, according to a press release issued by the city on Tuesday.
The spill was caused by a tripped breaker at the Main Street subdivision lift station. An estimated 250 gallons entered a nearby drainage ditch, according to the press release.
The station was back online at 4:01 p.m. and the affected areas were cleaned and limed, according to the press release.
