With a price tag listed at an eye-watering $3.8 million, one would be forgiven for thinking that the Ford Field & River Club home located at 1654 Dublin Drive would be a pretty tough sell.

But according to realtor Kacey Howard with Seabolt Real Estate, the eventual homeowners fell in love at first sight.

“The couple that ended up buying it were kind of just checking it out from the driveway…[while] the sellers were away for the summer,” explained Howard.

A Hinesville native, Howard has been representing buyers and sellers within the Ford Field and River Club community since 2016, and has worked with Seabolt Real Estate since 2022.

Her experience and local credentials make her a reliable go-to for folks looking to buy or sell homes in such a stylish, sought-after community. Earlier this year Howard represented the buyers and sellers in the $2.05 million sale of 552 Myrtle Grove Lane and $1.9 million sale of 165 Belted Kingfisher Lane.

Speaking on her latest sale, Howard said: “It was a real fun, validating sale because you had two great families that were able to make the moves that they wanted to make, and helping people get to where they want to be in a home is really special.”

Widely recognized as one of the Southeast’s most distinctive private communities, The Ford Field and River Club is a golf and sporting club built upon a natural preserve that is also the historic site of automobile magnate Henry Ford’s winter estate.

Residents at Ford enjoy a wide-range of amenities, such as an award-winning golf course designed by World Golf Hall of Fame architect Pete Dye, an equestrian center, Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts and a deepwater marina.

“It’s one of the top private clubs in the whole entire country”, Howard stated.

When describing the community, Howard says that other folks have likened the place to an “adult Disneyland” with all of its perks and amenities, adding: "There's so much to do, you can get up and play a round of golf early in the morning, and then go to the spa in the afternoon.”

“You feel like you’re in another world,” she emphasized.

But above all, Howard says that her favorite part of her job as a realtor is getting to know so many kind and interesting people in the process of buying and selling property.

”What I love most about selling luxury real estate (at Ford) is all the different people I meet. People from all different types of careers, backgrounds, that they have,” she says.

“When I think of Ford, I think of a true community.”
