The Richmond Hill MLK Observance Committee is set to host its highly anticipated Black Tie Gala on Saturday, October 11, at the Richmond Hill City Center, located at 520 Cedar Street.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m., bringing together community members, leaders, and supporters for a night of unity, reflection, and celebration. The event, which requires a $75 donation, will support the ongoing mission of the MLK Observance Committee to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and promote justice, equality, scholarship and service within the community.
“The Black Tie Gala is more than just a formal evening—it is an opportunity for the community to come together in the spirit of Dr. King’s vision of a beloved community,” says Johnnie Quiller, member of the MLK Observance Committee.
Guests can expect an evening filled with live music, dancing, food, meaningful fellowship, and recognition of the strides made in keeping Dr. King’s dream alive. For tickets see a committee member or purchase on Eventbrite.
