Richmond Hill High School Drama Club presents annual Haunted Trail
Drama

The Richmond Hill High School Drama Club and 17 South present their annual Haunted Trail on October 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, and 30. The trail runs from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. at 17 South Rod and Gun Club in Fleming, Georgia.

The event is run almost completely by students with the help of teacher and parent volunteers and their director, Hilary Taft.

All sets were made as a team effort with the Drama Club, HOSA, and JROTC, as well as employees of 17 South. Students volunteer to be a part of the event and take part in the scaring.

There are seven stations of the walkthrough with different themes including "The Last Of Us" videogame, "Arkham Asylum", and this year, "Stranger Things" will be added.

"It's honestly a really fun experience to be scaring with all of your friends, It's a really great way to promote and raise money for our program," said Mackenzie McGrath, RHHS junior and vice president of the club.

"It isn't our typical run-of-the-mill play or musical that we put on, it's just a place where we can all go and get into the Halloween spirit," she added.

Tickets are $20 at the entrance and concessions will be sold. Money raised will help the drama club attend the region One Act competition as well as putting on "Radium Girls" in the winter and "Footloose" in the spring.
