Richmond Hill's latest senior housing choice, Ways Station Apartments, celebrated its official opening Tuesday with a ribbon cutting attended by its management and city officials.

The apartments, for 55 and older, is located at 201 Kroger Drive, just north of the intersection of highways 17 and 144.

According to the management group, Gateway, Ways Station Apartments offers "well-appointed one and two bedroom floor plans with features like professional on-site management and 24-hour emergency maintenance."

Richmond Hill Mayor Russ Carpenter was on hand and said "We like senior living apartments." He added, "If the city can do anything for the residents, you know where to reach uys, just call City Hall."
