RHHS JROTC teams head to regionals after impressive wins

The Richmond Hill High School JROTC Raiders teams have been extremely busy racking up wins at recent competitions and training hard for the upcoming region and state competitions. according to information provided by the school.

"These young men and women train every afternoon building endurance, strength, and mental toughness. As a team, they compete in various obstacles and events, and the RHHS teams have dominated this season," the school stated.

Here are the results of their most recent competitions and a schedule of what lies ahead.

* Sept. 28 - Vidalia Competition - Boys & Girls - 1st place.
* Oct. 5 - Milledgeville GMC - Girls - 1st place; Boys - 3rd place
* Oct. 19 - Region Competitions - Boys - Benedictine Military - 9 a.m; Girls - Elbert County. - 9 a.m.
* Oct. 26 - State Competition - Griffin, GA.
