Three Richmond Hill High School students attended the All-National Honor Ensembles event, Nov. 7-10  in Orlando.

Xavier Rodriguez, Lexi Schieler and Jenna Pierre-Louis were selected earlier this year from students in all 50 states, District of Columbia and Department of Defense Schools.

Schieler and Pierre-Louis are chorus students and Rodriguez is a hornist with the RHHS Wildcat Band.

To qualify for this event, the students had to be members of their respective All-State ensembles and had to send in an audition video. In August they were informed of their selection.

For Schieler it was the second time attending. The other two auditioned for the first time. All three are also members of the RHHS Tri-M Music Honor Society chapter.

This year's ensembles were Modern Band, Guitar Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Mixed Choir, Concert Band and Symphonic Orchestra.

Rodriguez was selected for Symphonic Orchestra, Schieler and Pierre-Louis were part of the Mixed Choir.
