RH Council meeting date and time change announced

In accordance with the Georgia Open Meetings Act, notice is hereby given; the City of Richmond Hill Mayor and Council will meet on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Richmond Hill City Center, located at 521 Cedar Street, Richmond Hill, Georgia, 31324. 

There will not be a meeting of the Mayor and Council on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers, located at 40 Richard Davis Drive, Richmond Hill, Georgia, 31324. 

The date change was approved by Council on Friday, July 1st in a call-around vote due to an anticipated quorum issue if the meeting was not postponed. The meeting location change is for this meeting only, and it is needed because of an urgent repair of Council Chambers.

GeorgiaForward has announced that the 2025 Youth Placemaking Grant has been presented to the City of Pembroke Mayor’s Youth Council. The $500 grant, awarded to the city, will support a youth-led public placemaking project designed to foster creativity, community connection, and civic pride among young residents.
