The following information was taken from Richmond Hill Police Department reports.

Conduct unbecoming — A 19-year-old soldier stationed at Fort Stewart and a juvenile female were found in a parked vehicle at a business on Highway 17 at about 3 a.m. Sunday. The police report said they were sitting in the backseat talking. The soldier told police "he would gladly head that way with no problem" in reference to Fort Stewart and was released after a background check came back clean, according to police. The juvenile female told police she left her home without her parents’ knowledge after meeting the soldier on a mobile phone app. She was returned home to an apartment complex in Chatham County.

An offer they can refuse — A shift manager at the Hardee’s restaurant on Highway 144 at Highway 17 contacted police around 10 a.m. June 23 to report that the menu board had been removed from its kiosk and a bag of 20 dead fish had been left at the base of the kiosk.

Urban camping — Three homeless men were given criminal trespass warnings around 11 a.m. last Friday after complaints from the manager of the T/A Truck Stop at Interstate 95’s exit 87. Police report that the manager complained of trash blowing on to the truck stop’s property from a location in the woods between the southbound off ramp and the truck stop where she said the men were living.
