The Richmond Hill Police Department made three arrests Friday involving the manufacture of methamphetamine following a traffic stop.

April Marie Owens, 24, of Richmond Hill, Lisa Devereax, 26, of Chatham County, and Jason Cless, 35, of Effingham County, were arrested after an investigation, initiated by Cpl. Jack Frost, showed the three were in the Richmond Hill area  to obtain items used to cook meth, according to a press release from the Richmond Hill Police Department.

As a result of the arrest, meth, pseudoephedrine-containing products, Coleman camp fuel, lye and other items were found.

The release states the RHPD with area businesses and pharmacies remains proactive in monitoring activities surrounding the purchases of items related to the manufacture of methamphetamine.
