A 2-year-old boy was listed in stable condition after being struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon on Fort Stewart, according to Military Police.

The child was struck near a home in North Bryan Village, near Fort Stewart Road and Highway 144, post spokesman Kevin Larson said, citing MPs.

The investigation is ongoing, and further details were not immediately available, Larson said.
