Richmond Hill law enforcement authorities are investigating similar thefts around the area of Ivey Street on Ford Avenue after wallets were stolen last week during daylight hours at three businesses. Richmond Hill Police Lt. Dana Strickland said the incidents at Hit the Books, Richmond Hill Family Practice and the dental office of Dr. William E. Wallace occurred on different days between April 25 and May 1 but were all similar in nature – wallets and other items being plucked from purses.
