Reports from the Bryan County Sheriff's Department recently included:
Aug. 19 – Deputies responded to Belfast Keller Road around 8 a.m. in reference to a theft. The victims stated they noticed the lock to their jobsite had been cut and the gate removed off the hinges. They also found a tractor had been driven into a pond, and another tractor had damage from someone trying to get inside. Three batteries also were stolen out of a truck, and the diesel fuel had been drained. A generator was also missing from a utility trailer. The incident is under investigation.
