The following are from Bryan County Sheriff's reports:
Burglary
Nov. 7 –
An Ellabell woman reported around 7:25 p.m. that someone had stolen two televisions, worth $800 combined, from her home sometime over the weekend.

Armed robbery
Nov. 8 –
A Savannah man reported around 9:15 p.m. that a white man robbed him at gunpoint near a home on Warnell Farm Road in Ellabell. The victim told police that an Ellabell man called him over there to fix a car. When the victim arrived, another man stuck a gun in his back and demanded his wallet. The victim complied and about $250 was taken. The two men then ran into a home, and the victim called 911. Police searched the area and the home, but did not find any suspects.

The following are from Richmond Hill Police Department reports:
DUI
Nov. 5 –
A Varnville, S.C. man was arrested around 9:35 p.m. on Hwy. 17 and charged with DUI and having an open container while driving. He was pulled over for failing to maintain his lane.
Nov. 6 – A Richmond Hill man was arrested around 8:10 p.m. on Hwy. 144, near Cherry Street, and charged with DUI. The man was pulled over because police observed an inoperative headlight.
Nov. 7 – A Richmond Hill man was arrested around 1:05 a.m. on I-95 and charged with DUI. The man was pulled over after the police officer noticed that the car didn’t have valid insurance and suspended registration.
Nov. 7 – A Jacksonville, Fla., man was arrested around 1:35 a.m. on Hwy. 17 and Park South and charged with DUI. The man was pulled over for driving on wrong side of the road on Harris Trail Road.

Theft of mislaid property
Nov. 6 –
A Richmond Hill woman reported around 7:30 p.m. that her laptop computer was stolen from the Car Wash Express on Hwy. 17. The woman told police that she was vacuuming her car around 2 p.m. and took her laptop out of her car and placed it against the vacuum island. She left without her computer. When she realized her mistake, she called the carwash. The attendant told the woman that he thought he found her computer, and the woman told the attendant that she was on her way to pick it up. But when she got to the carwash, the attendant told the woman that he didn’t have her laptop. When the attendant went to retrieve it, he was confronted by a Hispanic woman claimed the laptop was hers.

Public drunkenness
Nov. 7 –
A Jacksonville, Fla. man was arrested around 1 a.m. on Hwy. 17, near Plantation Boulevard, and charged with public drunkenness. A police officer saw the man stumbling in the road, and the man admitted to drinking.

Possession of marijuana
Nov. 8 –
A Weley Chapel, Fla. man was arrested around 1:50 a.m. on I-95 and charged with possession of marijuana, less than 1 ounce. The man was a passenger in a car. The driver was pulled over for speeding and the police officer smelled marijuana coming from the car. Police also confiscated a handgun.
Nov. 8 – Two Brunswick men were arrested around 2:20 p.m. on I-95 and charged with possession of marijuana, less than 1 ounce. They were pulled over for speeding and the police officer smelled marijuana coming from the car.

Theft by taking
Nov. 9
– A Richmond Hill man reported around 8:20 p.m. that someone had stolen his BMX Mongoose bicycle from his backyard.
