Public drunkenness
Nov. 30 – A Garden City man was arrested around 9:10 p.m. near the El Cheapo gas station on Hwy. 17 and charged with public drunkenness. The man smelled of alcohol and told police officers that he recently left a Savannah hospital, and he was scared that he was going to drink himself to death. Police arrested the man after he refused medical treatment.

Disorderly conduct
Nov. 22 – An Ellabell man was arrested around 9:10 p.m. at his home and charged with disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana. Deputies were called to his home after a domestic dispute. He was arrested for disorderly conduct after he cursed at deputies, who then smelled marijuana coming from his car. Deputies searched his car and found marijuana and what appeared to be methamphetamines.

DUI
Nov. 26 – An Ellabell woman was arrested around 9:15 p.m. on Mutcherson Road in Ellabell and charged with DUI. The woman was pulled over for running a stop sign. She became irate with deputies, asking them what they did to her boyfriend, before trying to flee the scene. The woman also had her infant son in the car and refused a breath test at the scene, according to police reports.
Nov. 27 – A Hinesville man was arrested around 6:15 a.m. on Hwy 17, near Cartertown Road in Richmond Hill, and charged with DUI. The man was pulled over for swerving.

Burglary
Nov. 27 – A Pembroke woman told deputies at 4:10 a.m. that someone had broken into her Leroy Field Road home and stole a gun worth $450.

Theft by taking
Nov. 27 – A Richmond Hill man told deputies around 3 p.m. that someone had stolen fishing rods, life jackets, a tackle box, an anchor and a fist aid kit, worth $3,830 combined, from his boat docked at the Fort McAllister Marina some time between Wednesday, Nov. 24, and the time the theft was reported.

Animal complaint
Nov. 30 – Three dogs, two Rottweilers and another big dog, were reported loose around 7 p.m. on Cypress Bay Loop Road in Pembroke. The dogs belonged to the owner of a nearby junkyard, and were reported running loose after they killed a man’s small dog. Animal control responded, captured one Rottweiler and had to dart the other Rottweiler and remove it from under a residence. It's not clear what happened to the third dog.
