Bulloch County sheriff’s deputies are asking the public’s help in finding an apparently suicidal woman and her 2-year-old son who live in the far southeastern part of that county.
A woman told deputies Wednesday that her daughter Tina Marie Rosenberg, 27, was last seen around 11 a.m. Tuesday at a Live Oak Loop residence, according to an incident report released Thursday.
The mother said Rosenberg left with her tax refund check and her son, Cameron, according to the report.
The mother said Rosenberg told her that she was going to overdose on drugs. She said Rosenberg went to a neighboring home to hang out with a man. That man told deputies he saw Rosenberg without her son Tuesday morning and had no idea where she could be, the report says.
Rosenberg is described as white, 4 feet 11 inches, 135 pounds, with curly brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a white jacket, blue jeans, a pink striped shirt and a pair of flip flops.
Cameron is described as white, with blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a red shirt with black long sleeves, blue jeans and a gray-and-red jacket.
Rosenberg is a known methamphetamine user, the sheriff’s office says, and it’s possible she might be in Bryan County.
At 8 a.m. Thursday, Rosenberg’s mother said she had not had any contact with her daughter, but she said she went to a man’s home in Bryan County and asked the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office to conduct a welfare check on Rosenberg. The check was conducted, but Rosenberg was not there, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office.
A call by a Bulloch County deputy to Rosenberg’s cellphone yielded an automated message stating that the “person does not have a voicemail box set up,” the incident report says.
