The Richmond Hill Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating a homicide that occurred early Sunday morning at Plantation Apartments.

According to the RHPD, officers were dispatched to the scene around 3:30 a.m. and found a woman had been shot. She was transported by EMS to St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah and was pronounced dead.
