SAVANNAH — An Ellabell woman received was injured Wednesday after she drove a pickup into a truck’s path.
Cindy Miles Taylor, 47, was transported to Memorial University Medical Center after the 1:53 p.m. crash on the 1500 block of Dean Forest Road, according to Savannah-Chatham Metro Police. A passenger in her vehicle received minor injuries but refused medical treatment.
Police said Taylor was driving a 2000 GMC Sierra that was exiting a truck stop when she pulled into the path of a 2006 Peterbilt tractor traveling in the right, northbound lane of Dean Forest Road.
The driver of the tractor, Michael David Tomlinson, 38, of Guyton, was uninjured.
